MONOPRIX

This is the closest super market to me. Being an American initially it was difficult to understand how things work in Paris. It’s a fairly small store that carries more than just groceries but clothing and household items. Selection is decent but a number of personnel there are not helpful and somewhat surly. Others are wonderful and go out of their way for you. It’s also higher priced than other grocers such as Carrefour. Despite the negatives I go here primarily for the convenience factor.

This location is quite large and has a fairly good selection but it is a bit of a maze. It has an excellent produce selection with some of the most beautiful vegetables I have ever seen - typically I only see this quality at a farmer's market. There is also a great variety of all grocery items, such as baking materials, grains, spices, teas, coffee, bottled juice/water, beer, wine, liquor, etc. They also have decent bread, eggs, cheese, meat, and some fish. It's not the ideal place to buy meats and bread - I'd recommend getting these elsewhere. As an English speaker, you can enjoy self-checkout in English for convenience.

For me it was nice as I got good discounts. . .the billing was quick ! The staff was nice and polite. . . .!! They had wide variety of stuff. . .like the fruits. . .the vegetables . . . .Even the meats . . !! Very nice Wine collection and good offers on Chocolates. ! So altogether it was good for me ! But I've read other reviews online and they are not good !! Idk why people didn't like their services !!

This is a chain of stores with a wide range of products - pharmaceutical, grocery including ready-made food items to go, even (inexpensive) clothing. This location was large - three levels. It is comparable to Target in the States. Prices were very reasonable for food items and there was a decent selection to choose from.
