Part of the University of Paris and the present Sorbonne University consortium. An old and established institution, with many strengths in the physical and bio-medical sciences, computing, amongst others. Wonderful historic building and a marvel of Parisian architecture in the Latin Quarter, where other establishments of Sorbonne University exists.

Great University and has one of the best medical schools in Paris Known as Paris Descartes or Paris V Located close to many historical buildings not far from the gardens of Luxembourg and Odeon and Notre Dane The building of the university is historical and worth visiting if you can access it. Admissions to the university are competitive and the level of students is often good. If you need printing places they are available at the door off the university Some nice restaurants are around also. There is a private parking in front of the university in case you are coming by car.

This is a French public research university established in 1971.It focuses in the areas of medical sciences,biomedical sciences,law,computer sciences,economics and psychology.Is located in the buildings of the 18th Century Academie et College de Chirurgie and of the 19th Century Ecole de Sante of the French capital.There are also inside a museum and a library,both relative to medicine.
