Aire de camping cars "Espace Jules Vernes"

Great free aire. Bays were all full when we arrived, but car park next door was fine to park in. Clean toilets, with paper but no seats 🤔Road busy at times but we didn’t really notice it. Nice walk into village, but we couldn’t find a supermarket. Can recommend the kebab shop tho! Nice stop off point if you’re out that way.

This dedicated motorhome Aire is on the edge of the town beside the police station with the graveyard behind. The 9 spaces are a generous size segregated by a low hedge with some shade on the roadside spaces. Each parking space is on a slight slope. There are full services including electricity. Pros: Free parking. Free grey drain. Free black WC drain. Electricity €2 for 55 minutes. Fresh water €2 for 100 litres. Local supermarket and bars. Some tree shade. Public toilets. Bike/walking/running track. Cons: Some road noise. There are full services including electricity. They are on the outside of the public toilets across the hedge from the grey drain. If you need electricity you need to park close to the public toilets or have a very long lead. It's costs €2 for 55 minutes. Plug the lead into the right socket and turn the select switch to electric on the right side as the left is covered up and insert €2. The grey drain is beside the public toilets and has a deep flow direction into the centre grate. The black WC drain is actually an outside toilet. There is a push button tap beside the toilet to clean out the cassette. The water pressure us too much so plenty of splashback. There are actually 2 fresh water taps that cost €2 for 100 litres. The left payment slot is covered up. Turn the select switch to water and insert €2. The 3/4 turn handle tap is a medium screw-on connection with good pressure. There is a large bin in the carpark. The public toilets were open when we were here in early December and were very clean with toilet paper and the hand dryer working. We had 1 very quiet night here on our own. There is a nice sandy path through trees beside the road to the next town Saint-Etienne-en-Cogles 3.6km away. It's perfect for a walk, run or cycle. Bugs/Mosquitoes. (They love us..) We did not encounter any mosquitoes here in the beginning of December.

Excellent Aire - well kept, nice toilets and an 'overflow' area next to it for when all the bays are occupied.
