11.50€ to see the tower, museum, and to walk around the little that's left of the Abbey. The whole place, especially the museum, is very badly in need of an intervention! Little is in any language except French. Some signs have some English and German but the movie and written brochures are only in French. The models are difficult to interpret with labels or "Vous Etes Ici" red dots. This is a major site, drawing many international visitors, but it obviously scorns non-French speakers. Experts in museum signage and visitor understanding and engagement are desperately needed! No mention of the Cluny tapestries. I'm very disappointed.

Small pleasant museum, to be done in conjunction with the abbey. It is very pleasant to see the treasure (what a pity it cannot stay on cluny), and the library (when it is open) is magnificent.

Tuesday August 4, around noon: An execrable welcome, a coldness bordering on rudeness. But also a laughable pettiness on the validity of reduction tickets ... The museum is expensive for its size. In addition, the museum rooms in the basement are very poorly preserved ... Some corners are unsanitary ... The scenography is generally bad ... The toilets were out of order and you shouldn't expect the museum to apologize ... In one word: flee. That said: some beautiful pieces and let us note a film in a scenography - exception to the rule - of quality.
