Conforama Torcy

The store was great - airy, easy to find what I needed, simple to pay for, friendly staff. The pick-up service was, on the other hand, not good. My son in law arrived at 5:45pm and told them I would be there at a couple of minutes past 6 to rent a van to take something he had purchased to his house (6 being the limit, and I was indeed there by about 3 minutes past). We would certainly have been back by 7:30pm (Conforama's return limit). The first person he dealt with indicated that this would be fine and started to prepare the purchase for loading. But when he was passed over to the person responsible for the van hire, this person point-blank refused any flexibility. Such a shame, but in the end this person soured my first experience buying at Conforama to the extent that I probably won't use them again.
