Unique underground church and very interesting tour.

This church was completely dug into the limestone rock underground. It was the result of the expansion of caves that were excavated by the monks. The interior is surprising both for the width of the naves, cut into the stone, and for the perfectly regular cut of the vaults and the quadrangular pillars. One of the most amazing things is the bell tower situated exactly above the monolithic church which was started in the 12th century. I understand that the bell tower was finished in the 15th century. I highly recommend the tour, as it is very well explained and everything is very interesting. The tours are available in several languages.
