This is the car park for the waterfall. We were greeted by a friendly, smiling man - I guess you’d be smiling too if you were getting £5 from every car that passed! Unfortunately the car park closes at 5pm making it not so useful for hiking in the Berwyns. Also, the tea rooms and toilets are only for people using the car-park “due to COVID”. Much better, if you want to save a fiver an go for a longer walk rather than just follow the tourist path to the falls, is to try and get a parking spot just down the road where there are a few places on the tarmac and a few on a rocky pull-in. Don’t park in a passing place by mistake though! And please be aware that this area is at the end of a long and narrow single-track road. If you are not confident of squeezing past other cars, reversing down a narrow bendy road to get to a passing place, or doing a tight three-point turn, best to give this one a miss.
