Having vowed never to use a cattery again, following a terrible experience with one in the past, I had to drastically rethink this, having moved house. So, I Google searched catteries, came across Nutwood and booked a visit. My first impression of Nutwood was just how lovely it was, so peaceful and quiet. I was greeted by Nikki, who answered all my questions and asked me all about Mollie. Nikki is a calm, no nonsense fun person with a great sense of humour and I knew immediately that this was definitely the best place for Mollie. We’ve been using Nutwood for a long time now and as Mollies arthritis has got worse Nikki has come up with ways of enabling her to climb up off the floor into a raised basket, so she is more comfortable and gets a great view of the beautiful garden. Nothing is too much trouble, and while we are away we can see photos of her on their FB page and we can see for ourselves how happy and content she is. Mollie loves coming here and is so well cared for that she’s always reluctant to get back into her basket and come home. So the question of would I recommend Nutwood is a resounding Yes, in a heartbeat!!!

We have been using Nutwood Cattery for several years now - they came to our rescue after a very poor experience at another local cattery. Since then our 3 fur babies have had the utmost care and TLC when they go to Nutwood. Nicola and Lizzie are brilliant hosts and really care for the cats they are entrusted to look after. We are the worst kind of owners, always fretting about our 'children' but I have to say, Nutwood keep us fully up to date with emails and photos on FB, giving us peace of mind when we are away. We are just back from an 8 day trip and our cats were all happy and healthy on collection. We wouldn't use anywhere else and we give our highest recommendation!

Lovely people who have looked after our cat, Ian, for many years. They are so kind & really give him a great holiday. The pictures they post of your furbaby whilst you are aware make you realise how dedicated they are.

We have used this cattery for many years and have always been delighted with their service. We used them last month, for the first time since the management changed, and it was as good as ever. It's in a lovely rural setting. The runs are large, with nice heated enclosed areas. It's spotlessly clean. The staff are very friendly and Lizzy, in particular, seems to really love her charges. I'm very happy to recommend Nutwood to anyone.

We decided to get two kittens and suddenly realised that we would have to put them in a cattery over peak holiday season. As I didn’t have a lot of time to actually check out any catteries I had to rely on recommendations so booked the last spaces with Nutwood. I won’t lie - I was very apprehensive about dropping them off and leaving them - especially as one cat was on medication - but as soon as I turned up I know they’d be in safe hands. Both Nicky and Lizzie obviously love cats, the runs were clean and well maintained and it’s obvious that they would be treated so well. Both cats were happy when we picked them up and we immediately booked for next year and will continue to use them whenever needed. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them
