I have hired many many cars and have never had a problem before. This was the worst experience ever. The car offered to me was different from what I had booked and wouldn’t have met my needs. This was fortunately rectified by the branch worker but took additional time. I was then not shown how to work the car such as adjusting the seat or where the lights work which I have been before. This again took me more time in order to feel safe driving. Secondly the car wasn’t full when I picked it up. I went back to the branch worker and pointed this out. He took a photograph and said he would make a note and to just return it at the same level. I did this and then on my final invoice have been charged for fuelling!!! I have then queried this with customer service and they are saying there is no record of this! The response received was incredibly rude and did not offer to even look into the situation. The rental agreement also doesn’t include any figures until returning the vehicle and the costs I was charged for were significantly different from the quote through Rentalcars.com. Again when this was queried through customer service the response I received was incredibly rude. I would not recommend. I will not use again and would suggest actively avoiding.

Excellent service from the employee who managed to change my car as the original didn't have the sat nav that I required for my trip. Extremely friendly and professional service from Helen ,I think that was her name.

It costs a bit more than the budget car rental, but the quality of the service and the car is much better. I used SIXT for the first flights after COVID when there was no other companies around, so the reliability of the service was important. Danny was great, reassuring and good communication considering the circumstances. It was also very clean and adhered to the cleaning regulations.
