Always a friendly welcome they know the wife.
Registered the birth of our daughter and social distancing was well met and staff very considerate. Didnt have to wait long to be introduced to the registrar and she was very friendly.
Very helpful staff in these times
OK Library but the range of material is now a lot worse than previously with the Springfield (and the town library). Most of the books I used to consult are just no longer around all replaced by very nice up to date books, which is perhaps what everyone wants ? I still miss the huge arts / music / drama / film selection at the Springfield. Staff are very helpful and there is a decent selection of magazines and newspapers as well as useful computer section.
Totally in the wrong place. Very busy junction with few places to park. Layout inside not good, allowing children to disturb people studying. The old main library was much better with a separate children's section. Librarians helpful.
