Plenty of Covid 19 protection here. Large car park, click and collect area. Not too crowded on a weekday morning. Avoid more at school turn out time. Friendly staff and a raid range if goods, including a good 'free from" section. Would like to see about more vegetarian/vegan produce.
Also sells clothes, home goods, and has a pharmacy.
With the excellent customer service from two lovely ladies at the store (Grace and the security guard) I got the last of the special offer 50" TV's. Can't thank them enough, asset to the store.
Staff helpful but the provision for hand sanitising and trolley cleaning is poor. On more than 1 occasion I have visited, there has been no hand cleanser. Although today there was, the sprays for cleaning the trolleys are stored up on top of the self scan shelves and not accessible to anyone in a wheelchair or mobility scooter. Last week the CEO of Asda sent an email to customers stating there would be additional cleaning points made available in their stores, but the Whitchurch branch still has only the one, and as said, often not properly supplied with cleaning materials, and not accessible to all customers. Asda - sort yourselves out.
Because they are very reliable and efficient also helpful.
