Spectacular views looking down towards Treherbert and a good dog walking area.
Lovely place for views and tranquility
Lovely view over Treherbert even if it is spoiled by the wind farm on the mountain above.
The car park has recently been tarmaced which is a vast improvement over the previous dirt track.
There are no facilities in the car park but it is a great place for a picnic.
Spectacular views everywhere you look. Do ensure you bring a coat as the Rhigos Mountain is very high up altitude wise and therefore bears the brunt of the elements. This said it's an amazing place for walks with the dog or if you're into hiking. The adjacent wind farms which run either side of the mountain road are accessible to the public and make for some great photo opportunities - I appreciate they're an eyesore for some but seeing them close up is quite a sight.
Plenty of paths for exploring and there is also the Rhigos Viewpoint further up the road offering a stunning view out to Pen Y Fan.
Great place to stop and look over the rhondda valley, also good for a stop over in a campa van
