Stunning views over the Brecon Beacons, also see the now defunct Tower Colliery in the valley below. Picnic seating available. There was an ice cream van there, had a 99, haven't had one of those for years😊. Just below the seating area there's a Memorial, with crosses and offerings tied to the fence; quite poignant. Great place to just stop and take in the atmosphere. Also hear the eerie whooshing of the propellers of the wind farm nearby.

Great views of mountains up to Brecon and Pen-y-Fan etc. Normally there's a burger and tea van here too (but he's a bit expensive)

The Rhigos Mountain has lovely views whith a good viewing point heading down to Treherbert follow the road down takes you down though the Rhondda Valley of Wales coming out at Pontypridd.
