I advise to avoid this vets at all cost if you need anything more than routine vaccinations.
We took my female cat due to her not eating for 3 days and in turn not having a bowel movement in the same time, she did at the time also have weeping eyes, explained all of this to the vets and they sent my mother home with eye drops and said she had conjunctivitis, baring in mind they didn’t do a single test on her to confirm if this infection was present and they took no notice of the fact she hasn’t eaten or made a bowel movement in three days, I’m not an expert but I’m pretty sure conjunctivitis doesn’t cause those symptoms. After taking her home she still wouldn’t eat so I demanded that my mum take her to Mead Vets in Dartford (highly recommend) so she did, without even running any tests, my mum got a call from the vets to say our cat had an abscess in her mouth and would need 4 teeth removed immediately, then to confirm after running actual blood tests they found that the only infection she had was in her mouth, my cat didn’t even have conjunctivitis, so Kings hill vets sent my mother home with a very sick cat, who could have likely died from starvation or her incredibly rare disease called adissons, where if she doesn’t get her medication for this she goes into a coma! And as she wasn’t eating, guess what, she wasn’t getting the medication to help her life long condition, so had I not convinced my mum to take her else where in my eyes King Hill Vets would have just signed my cats death certificate, they charged her £58 for the whole ordeal when my cat didn’t need the eye drops and in actual fact had something far more serious wrong with her. I would advise EVERYONE to put this vets out of business, if you care for your animals, you shouldn’t be putting their lives in the hands of the vets at this place, they cannot be trusted.
Always used for last 8yrs and have never had a problem. Always very helpful.
Still no access due to COVID so need to hand pets over at the door and communicate by phone.
Had a consult for our (limping) cat and hat her claws trimmed. Good value and a happy cat
King Hill vet was so good with my dog and my nan dog last Friday I give 5 🌟
I wanted to post this review in the hope that it might prevent some other poor animal having a similar experience: we have been with Kings Hill vets for several years, & when our lovely cat went off his food recently, I called them them to ask If I could have a preliminary chat with the vet, to see if it could be something simple. They said I could but required the £35 payment over the phone before the vet would call me back. I paid, and she called me back, saying best to bring him in, & the payment would be offset against the visit. I took him in, & they said there was nothing obviously wrong, but they could take blood for testing to investigate further. I preferred not to put him through that at this stage, & said I would try to tempt him to eat first. Over the next few days I got him to eat a little, but he was still poorly, so I called another vet for advice. This vet came to the phone after only a few minutes wait, and for no charge, listened to his symptoms, then advised a visit. I took him in straightaway, & within minutes was told that he had a massive tumour & should be put to sleep immediately, which we sadly did. I feel so bad that our lovely boy had to suffer unnecessarily, & so cross that KH vets did their usual offer of more tests, without a proper examination which could have picked this up. We had a different but equally bad experience at KH vets with our other cat in the past. They have been ok for routine vaccinations etc, but have let us down when it was really needed.
