This is an excellent cattery and Hazel is lovely. My cat is always very happy and well looked after. It is spotlessly clean and very well managed, particularly during the Covid period. I'm always very happy to leave my cat with Hazel, and feel fortunate to have such an excellent cattery so close.

We've used Barham Cattery for years now and all our cats have come back relaxed, healthy and clean. Owner Hazel has always been very helpful, getting us in at short notice and being flexible with dates - and she understands the 'special needs' of Orientals! They get pretty busy so we book the cats in as soon as we book a holiday.

Above and Beyond My cat has stayed at Barham Cattery for the last eight years with no problems at all and this year he was diagnosed with diabetes of which I informed Hazel before his stay in August, everything was going well with his stay until the last day of our holiday, he went into a hypoglycemic seizure which was nobody’s fault as he started to produce his own insulin. Without Hazel’s care and attention he would not be here today she rushed him to our vets and then to the vets hospital and kept in touch with us constantly with updates and still keeps in touch with us now, and will have no hesitation in the future of boarding my cat with her and cannot thank her enough for the care she gave to my cat.

I cannot speak highly enough of Barham Cattery, their level of care and standard of hygiene are outstanding. Our beloved cat has stayed there once a year for the past 9 years, the longest stay he had was 3 months. Our cat is diabetic and Hazel is prepared to take responsibility for injecting him twice a day with insulin. We have complete peace of mind knowing that he is in very capable hands; if Hazel has any concerns she will email me me and will also answer my emails. I am happy for anyone to contact me about my review or for any further information about our experience of Barham Cattery.
