Depending who you get on reception & which vet you see service can be very good or not so good. Prices haven't risen much after lockdown compared to vets owned by Vets Now. This vets states independent but dont be fooled. They are owned by the big corporation Independent Vet Care ( IVC) In response to the owners reply. The sign outside says your independent vet, or something similar. Implying you are an independent vet. It doesn't state Independent Vet Care. Like I said I know you are owned by IVC others however may be mislead. Not everyone checks a website . There are very few independent vets around nowadays, as most are owned by the corporate businesses. Shame because all if these companies are purely in it for the money. However I will say that this practice does have some vets who are there for the animals & not just to generate income for the company. As yet prices have not got to ridiculous amounts. So tes you are correct you remain competitive atm.

We found a stray cat and took it to this vets as it was in a bad way. The vet wasn't very keen on taking it in and also suggested that we'd have to pay towards treatment of the cat, even though we had found it. Its because they're a private vets. Just another vets that's in it for profit and not to help a suffering animal. We ended up taking the cat to the RSPCA. we've always used this vets for our own pets and were really happy with them, but this has shown that they're only in the veterinary business for profit and not because they care for animals.

The practice is good and phoning in to make an appointment couldn't be easier. Time given to arrive and reception pet taken into surgery safe secure and ease of payment. Cannot fault service.

The vets and staff themselves are lovely. But it can be incredibly expensive. Plus the last 3 times I have visited I have been seen much later than my appointment time; one time they were 50 mins late. I understand they cannot plan for emergencies, but they should have contingencies in place if this does happen.
