Unhelpful, unethical. Look elsewhere, they are full and will not take anybody on, wouldn’t see my my very ill pet. Can’t get her in anywhere and they still wouldn’t see her, everyone is having problems due to covid not just you. I don’t want to travel far and go against government guidelines and can’t go to my pervious vet as they have increased prices and they are extortionate so can not afford their costs. Really need someone to see my poorly pet. Desperate, told the receptionist but still no help. Surely you have to assess each case as it goes. Follow your rules but try and read a situation and help when needed. Typical receptionist taking a power kick from throwing out the rule book speech, in these times we need to be flexible . Poor understanding. Edit In response to the owners comment, I would say it is critical welfare when it is likely my cat has an infection that needs antibiotic treatment. Also my cat is not registered elsewhere only my dog is, not the cat. The receptionist also said that she could take me on if I wasn’t registered elsewhere, which the cat isn’t, she then turned us away even though I told her the cat was not registered elsewhere and was really poorly. Disappointing you are marking excuses for such poor, unethical service.

We’ve used Treforest Vets for some 30+ years. We’ve not had any problems with the Practice during that time. They’ve treated a variety of our pets and us with kindness and dignity especially in difficult times when we’ve needed to say goodbye to our pets.

We have taken every animal that we have had to them over the years and have been treated with care every time. Even in these difficult times they have made us feel safe and well informed.
