Very disappointed upon phoning the shop to find that it's a pointless call informing them that although they display an opening time until 5pm in Saturday, in fact, the place closes earlier....around 4pm. Having bought a pair of shoes from Pili Pala the previous day my husband and I returned to purchase more but living too far away to return another time we had a fruitless journey and no apology...Not happy with the shop worker's attitude.
I have bought my shoes and boots from Pili Pala for many years. It is a pleasure to enter the shop to see the unusual and quality selection of shoes - also to have the undivided attention of the helpful and friendly proprietors.
My husband also buys his shoes there and his shoe size is always remembered which seems to be an indication of the overall quality of the experience.
Now with a second shop open in Carmarthen, I expect more people will be able to enjoy having a selection of footwear far removed from the run-of the-mill.
