Nice for a stroll, but most of it is along a fenced path with little room to ramble free. Enjoyed the Beowulf trail and its eerie sculptures, and meeting the sheep :) + some good trees for kids to clamber up. Coffee at the info cafe was not great, so heads up!

Really enjoyed walking around West Stow. If you go, take your own food and drink - the café there is ridiculously expensive (£1.60 for a can of pop!) and the lady running it the day we were there had a bit of an attitude. I'll give her the benefit of the doubt and hope it was just a stressful day and she was maybe trying to adjust to new track and trace rules. However, the park itself is great; scenery is nice and it's quite tranquil (although we did go on a rainy day!) and they have a lake walk which is lovely.

I will start by stating we didnt go into the visitor centre but as a family ( and dog ) explored the walks...and we were impressed. Fair size car park, although we did note a lot of people parked 200 m before the entrance for free. The walks are clearly signposted, we went at a very soggy time of the year... so wellies were a must. Generally a lovely river and lake walk though, didn't note a lot of picnic areas but we didn't look for them. So in conclusion if you want a river lake country walk that isn't ridiculously long it's worth a visit, if you want a wooded, picnic walk try nowton park. We enjoyed our day.

Brilliant Play Park with sand!. Excellent walks, a dragon, a gringle and a cafe. Parking is good price too and supports mobile payments.

Cosy, quite place to visit. Easy light walks in pleasant countryside. Nice cafe available for refreshment.
