Fisher and Donaldson are an institution! Their coffee towers are to die for, but sadly I foolishly turned vegan since my last visit and most of their menu no longer applies. They have an excellent set up for our current social distancing restrictions, with outdoor and marquee-covered seating. Their menu is still fairly extensive, although if you're vegan, or have other dietary requirements, you might find it a bit lacking in choice and information. It would be a huge bonus if the menu indicated, or the staff knew, which products were suitable for which diets. I was pleased to be able to have a tasty vegan toastie, but very sad to have to sit by and watch my mum and sister tuck into their coffee towers while I had no cake of my own. Vegan cakes, please 😁😁😁
