Woman that answers the phone is the most unhelpful person we have ever come across. All we wanted was an updated on our car repair that is our pride and joy. Sooner we get the car back the better !

My car went in to Bodywyse Cupar through my insurance for accident damage repairs after a van drove into the back of me. It took 5 weeks to get my car back. When I went to collect my car I stood in the reception waiting 5 minutes to be served, I could hear the gentleman in the back office on the phone chatting and swearing away on the phone while I was trying to cough and make noise to get some attention... At first glance the car looked good,rear bumper and boot replaced and a tidy job done there...BUT..... I then discovered they hadn't fixed the number plate bulb issue, but more worryingly they let me drive off with the car with defunct seatbelts. The seatbelt pretensioners went off during the impact and this brought up a safety warning light which they did nothing about . It was not safe to drive this car but I was not aware of this at the time. I also have a towbar frame which was damaged and rattling on the chassis due to the impact...if they properly checked the car,how can that not be noticed? they had the rear bumper off and put the new bumper on top of this... and also during this they also managed to disconnect my aerial so I had no radio . I was driving the car for 4 weeks with dangerous seatbelts, the towbar rattling and banging and rear number plate bulb out and no radio before the car went back in. I left it with bodywyse for a week while I went on holiday and It was meant to be ready when I got back...guess what, it wasn't.. I drove 70 miles to collect it only to find out 2 minutes before I got to bodywyse that it wouldn't be ready...anyway yesterday 7/1/20 I collect my car for the second time after it originally went in on 5/11/19. Bodywyse dropped my car off at enterprise car hire at 12pm knowing I would be collecting at 5pm...when I arrived, guess what...the headlights had been left on for 5 hours so my battery was totally flat....was this an accident? Well maybe if you are deaf you might not hear the alarm when lights are left on and keys taken out the ignition.... Would I use Bodywyse again? Would you you dip your head in a deep fat fryer? This is the first time in my life I have felt compelled to leave a negative review. AVOID

The purpose of this review is to let Bodywyse know that despite employing polite decent people. They must improve their service quality. The work on my car to be done involved (1) Replacement of the mirror (2) scratches on driver side. This was noted on the day, by the bodywyse people came to collect my car. After almost 12 days the car is returned with mirror nicely replaced. But no work was done to paint the scratches away on the driver side. The bodywyse guy who brought my car noted too that no work was done to get rid of scratches. When I called Bodywyse, I was told they can't do anything about it, because nobody told them anything about the scratches. Well, whether all this shoddy customer service leaves a bad taste in my mouth, or not. However, surely its time for Bodywyse to improve on what they do to ensure customer service.
