Small car park with lots of great walks from it. Better now road from Denbigh has been re surfaced.
Great place to start your walking, with a free car park, but be warned there is a very long single track road leading to it so be ready for reversing if you meet a big tractor
Small and popular car park holds no more than ten cars
Worth a visit. Moel Arthur is a hill fort, with visible ditch formations. Views of the local area are good and it's a nice walk. It's a good little walk from Moel Arthur to other local prominancies.Consider a short walk to the nearby peak Moel Famau, to complete your visit. The nearby scenery is wonderful and the views are spectacular. This location is not far from the historical Offas Dyke and within easy reach of the historical Roman City, Chester (Deva) and walk along the ancient City Wall and see the other Roman archeological remains. The city is also famous for the shops known as the Rows, Close to Chester Cathedral.
The most basic of parking areas, basically packed down hardcore to the side of the road that takes about 8 cars at the most. Can't complain though because it's free to park and is in a remote part of the park. The road there is mainly single track with pull in places for cars coming in the opposite direction. It's a lovely area for a walk.
