We recently bought our first house and had some sense of how we wanted it to look but no idea where to start to bring the design together into a cohesive whole - thank goodness for Paula. In a very short time, she understood what we wanted and gave refreshing, exciting and insightful ideas and advice. She revealed to us what the possibilities of our house were and painted a clear picture of where to take it. She was a joy to work with and we felt listened to and understood all the way, as well as encouraged to be bold and daring. Her style of communicating is gentle and supportive and her expertise and talent are truly evident in the way she presents options. One of the best investments we made in this project. We couldn’t have done it without her and warmly and wholeheartedly recommend her.

Paula from Supertonic designed and project managed the interior of my tenement flat back in 2010. It still gives me pleasure every single day and only last week I had a visitor asking me for details of the paint colours so that she could try and recreate the look. Paula was a joy to work with. She obviously has a great eye for design herself, but she also takes time and care to incorporate something of the personality of the owner into the property. My thoughts and ideas were always consulted and followed through. Perhaps what impressed me most is that it was a very difficult project for numerous reasons (not least a cold winter leading to burst pipe and flooding of the warehouse where my wooden flooring was housed by the supplier!) yet despite this Paula never let her personal standards slip and consistently delivered regardless of obstacles. I could see it was genuinely important to her to deliver a very high quality service and she put in enormously long days to ensure this. Even now, 8 years on, I think of her and feel grateful almost every day for the beautiful home I still enjoy. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Paula from Supertonic has helped me improve several homes since 2010, from an extensive kitchen remodel including moving walls, windows and doors, to a bathroom remodel in a house in Glasgow, Scotland through to smaller scale projects in a new home since I’ve moved to the U.S.. Even from thousands of miles away, Paula has delivered superb guidance down to the just right details, for example sourcing paint charts from U.S. based brands so she can have confidence in the color choices available here. Paula humbly brings her extensive knowledge, skills, and insights - some gained through high-end, large scale projects to any size of project. I’ve always appreciated Paula’s down-to-earth approach with considering layout options, and sourcing materials and products - knowledgeable about when and where to spend or save a bit, and her ability to articulate the tradeoffs to help you make decisions. Paula has a real empathetic and collaborative style: she clearly cares deeply and is excited to help create the best space for the job. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to know and work with her; she’s an absolute star.

Paula worked on a bar restaurant interior for me (the bungo, Glasgow). I cannot recommend her highly enough. She is talented and focussed. I've worked with many architects and interior designers over the years and she stands out for many reasons- Her ability to assess the options, both aesthetically and operationally. Her ability to articulate and demonstrate these visually and verbally. Her knowledge of the marketplace and products available. Her awareness of professionals who can help deliver the end product. She has enormous integrity and attention to detail. She works tirelessly until the job is done. She is likeable, sensible and diplomatic when making tough decisions. These qualities build both loyalty and co operation within the work place. I look forward to working with her again
