Pritchards has been my vet for 34 years .I recently had to have my 14 yr old dog put down , one in a line of pet demises over the years. I have always experienced care and understanding particularly from Trevor Pritchard. It's a large rural practice with operating and scanning facilities. There is plenty of parking and a large waiting room. Everything is under control even during this pandemic and every care is taken with patients and owners. I recommend this practice highly.

I managed to catch a stray cat who was severely malnourished and i wanted to see if he had an owner who was looking for him as he was an extremely friendly kitty not even a year old. I contacted the vets at 8pm.. took them over an hour to get back in touch with me and then proceeded to inform me it would cost £150 for a check for a microchip.. no treatment just the scanning for a microchip! Yes you read that right.. £150! I explained it was just a microchip scan i needed and the vet who was actually very rude said that would cost a minimum of £150 just to get in the door! Absolutely disgusting. These animals need our help and this is how we are treated! Greedy people wanting to take as much money from friendly people who want to help animals in need. Unfortunately, due to over a 5 hour wait in Colwyn Bay emergency vets who so kindly informed me this service was free! We unfortunately had to release the poor cat back home in the hopes he will return during the day so i can take him to a vet who will not charge me to scan a machine over his neck! Do not use this vet! Absolutely appalling!!
