Beautiful church.
St Mary's Priory Church, Abergavenny. The Jesse Tree, described as the finest piece of Medieval sculpture in Western Europe by BBC art historian Andrew Graham Dixon.
Annually, My school would perform a Christmas Carol concert for family and friends. We are luckily enough to have the priory and church the whole day. The staff are just wonderful and we just love as a community, that we are able to perform in such a heart-warming place.
A wonderful example of a historic church living in the present and serving the community and visitors. Warm welcomes from volunteers, and loads to delight the eye and the mind, including tableaux by local school children.
