Few miles of well tended nature walks. A boardwalk takes you out away from the visitor center over some wetlands with plenty of greenery. Info is shown for all the butterflies and dragonflies that you'll be seeing around. A track takes you on a loop through some more wooded areas and there is the option to head back via a longer cut path around the nature reserve. Views are breathtaking if you can catch it on a good day and the experience feels very open. Booking required but it means that everything is well organised and you don't need to worry about feeling crowded anywhere. Worth a visit.

Okay, not much to see.

This place was great! It was just as good as it used to be. Although i wish i had gone on a better day...it was cold and extremely muddy. But other than that i loved it, it was good exercise

A fantastically picturesque working reed fen just outside Cambridge. Has a lovely boardwalk and many bird hides. At present NT have roped off the picnic area at the back of the cafe. Also be aware you need a mask or face covering to go through the visitors centre (autumn 2020) to get to the board walk and you need to book for that. The rest of the fen walks and cycle ways are open and do not need booking.

A lovely place for a walk. Social distancing arrangements are excellent and seem to generally be being followed by members of the public and staff alike. All staff were friendly, and this made for an excellent trip out. For me, this was the location for a socially distanced picnic with my mum as somewhere close to half way between us. Plenty of picnic tables were available, and lots os space to walk off the good afterwards. Highly recommended as a way to spend a few pleasant hours.
