Unpleasant experience from a manager with a superior attitude - seems being a tenant and can't afford to buy means putting up with slow to repair or no repairs to job much needed doing. They dismiss some repairs without seeing them or even contacting the landlord and sometimes insist it's the tenants that have to foot the bill. Often had to chase and chase to get repairs done. Shelter Scotland has a website that list what is the landlords responsibility but mentioning so is met with threats of notice to quit. High and mighty attitude. When we decided to leave we were warned that we had to pay professionals to clean and show receipts even though we live to a high standard to cleanliness. They further went into threatening to eat into our deposit if we didn't do so or if they find a single thing wrong and if we didn't obey then that would give them reason to look more closely upon exit. A lot of stress on me and my boyfriend and caused slot of arguments. I can only assume the mass of 5 star reviews is by friends of the business or people to keen to leave a review after meeting them. How many update after a long term experience. Leave well alone.
