Amazing Home and Very Welcoming
Great Morale between staff and residents
The team at Sutton Lodge are always so welcoming
Staff very polite and friendly, committed with the residents. The house is always cleaned and tidy.
My father had a terrible time in this place, there are not enough staff to provide the care that is required, particularly at peak times, i.e. morning and evening. When he was fed he was rushed, he wasn't offered enough to drink, even though they knew he couldn't hold a glass or cup himself. He was left on the commode for long periods of time and his call bell was left out of reach so he couldn't call for help if needed. When I enquired why he didn't have his face and hands washed and teeth brushed in the evening I was told it would be put on his care plan, even though this is basic care that everyone should have! Poor care from a majority of staff who just didn't seem interested.
