Lovely place that my granddaughter Amy and I visit now & then***
This is such a peaceful place, the walk through the stations of the cross gives a real feeling of closeness to our Lord. The café is excellent and the Welsh rarebit is the best I've ever tasted.
Beautiful mass and Church and the Priests are amazing for their age. There are gardens for Padre Pio and walk for stations of the cross. There is a shop that sells religious articles and books. Wonderful cafe with great coffee and food. A place for prayer and relaxing and no you don't need to be religious to go and enjoy it😉
This is a roman catholic centre of religious worship.
It is worth a visit regardless of your beliefs.
The history of these buildings and the dedication that keeps them existing has recently been presented in a new and original book concerning the history of the priory and buildings.
The friary and church act as my parish.
The shop and café are well worth a refreshment break during a visit.
