Wasnt open due to COVID so couldn't go inside maybe next time
Beautiful gardens. House visited. Good to see the amount of work affected by Covid 19. Enjoyed visiting house and gardens.
Bonus was rain stopped and sun came out. Some good photos taken. Well worth a visit. Very quiet.
Took our grandchildren aged 7 & 5, they loved the grounds. The views were amazing & we were lucky as it was a beautiful day. Well done NT the arrangements for prevention against Covid was spot on. All staff were extremely friendly, helpful yet very professional. Thank you.
Ample parking. Grounds were nice to walk around. Michael Portillo happened to be filming while we were there. We did a longer walk through the woods adjacent to the strait which was nice, although it didn’t appear to be circular, so after about 2km we turned around and walked back. Cafe had nice tea and coffee and the staff were friendly and helpful, only minor bug bear was the number of wasps buzzing round our table in the courtyard, guess there must have been a nest somewhere.
Booked ahead Warm welcome from friendly National Trust team member. Plenty of car parking Toilets cafe plant and gift shop open near the car park. Good paths and shallow wide steps down towards scenic view of the Menai Straits Lovely parkland. Enjoyable family day out for all.
