Enterprise Rent-A-Car - Chester

Very good experience with this branch. Professional and friendly. The Hyundai Tucson I rented was well cleaned beforehand and in good condition. Both of the members of staff I dealt with were polite and courteous. Paperwork and payment was dealt with efficiently and the rental terms were made clear. I will be using this branch again. Particular thanks to Aline for her help. I can't remember the name of the other lady unfortunately but both were excellent.

I booked a car yesterday 08/21/2020 to pick up the car today 08/22/2020, a woman called me confirming the reservation and gave me the option of taking the car in chester or birkenhead, I chose chester and she confirmed the delivery of the car, however when I arrived today in the morning to get the car the employee told me that he did not have a car. I am very disappointed with the company, I had plans for this weekend and I lost all the tickets I bought and I lost all plans for this weekend

We picked up a car rental from the branch on Friday afternoon for 4 days. We payed £394 before picking up the vehicle and then a further £624 (£124 insurance and £500 as a deposit) so in total £1018. We did a check around the car with the employee which was very brief and when we noticed a number of scratches that were already on the car and mentioned it to him, he said not to worry as that isn’t larger than our tool we use to identify damage. During our 4 days we didn’t have any incidents or even drive it far distances and parked safely in a private apartment parking space. When returning back the vehicle we were accused of scratching on the right side of the bumper which we believe a 100% was there when we picked the vehicle up on friday. This was not mentioned in the report and also if you look closely it is not one solid scratch and is numerous small scratches that are not in the size of the tool that enterprise uses and also not easy to notice. The facts are now we are being charged for repair damage that isnt our fault and also writing the technical report there is a lot of discrepancies and amount of fuel was not correctly mentioned. There isnt any description on what bumper etc and its very poorly written up as a whole. I have been a loyal customer of enterprise with renting cars even for a month etc in germany and all over the UK and Europe. I am not anymore as i feel this is completely ridiculous when there is hardly any scratches and they have taken in total £1018. We advice everyone to be careful and we do not recommend this branch. Take a very good look at the car and take pictures and videos to protect yourselves as you might be accused of the same and pay for existing scratches or dents. Its a real shame giving the current circumstances and after not being to see loved ones we rented a car and have been scammed out of this large sum of money. STAY CLEAR!
