The new landlords (late 2020) have totally transformed what was a dull and dreary pub into a warm, welcoming and vibrant pub with a great restaurant. Light years from what it was. Great to have lovely pub back in East Hanney.

Delicious food and Ken and Lynn are wonderful hosts. Great steak and curry nights and they always have a tasty veggie offering too. The open fire is so welcoming in the main room, cosy even with Covid measures in place. The wine list is great and excellent beers and ales on tap. We love it here. Listen out for Alfie....!

We had a lovely meal even though we did not book they found a table for us . The meals we had were really lovely and the staff followed the covid rules

Lovely decor, polite staff. Good range of pub food however it was VERY slow service. Nearly 20 mins to get drink order then a long wait for food order. Over an hour before we got starters and it wasnt even busy! Im sure with experience it will improve . Would try again and hopefully it will all be a bit quicker 🤞
