We love taking our grandchildren here. There's usually a trail of some kind to entertain them otherwise they love just running around exploring. It's a great place for a walk and the toilets and cafe are open. There's an attractive lake and plenty of places to picnic. Definitely worth a visit.

Love Claremont Gardens- though it isn’t very large and my friend and I did a loop walk in 15 mins- so we did 3/4 loops just to get the steps in! Pretty paths and gardens- cafe is open which is a bonus. Parking was a bit tight though.

A wonderful day out for families or couples, the entire place can be appreciated in any weather, the lake is a perfect centrepiece and the path around leads you though the forest where in the summer you can see beautiful flowers - especially up on the hill. There are many ways to go around and explore Claremont, there being plenty of ways to deviate from the main path to find beautiful somewhat hidden areas. There is a cafe/shop at the entrance where you can enjoy a range of drinks and food as well as find various books in their small shop area. There is even something for the smaller children - two play areas, one of which you’ll come across next to the cafe, and the other requires a climb up a hill to get to the forest clearing, though the playground quality is definitely worth it to appreciate how it fits in with the surroundings. All in all, a great day out for all ages!

Beautiful and well kept. Sitting by the lake in the sun, we could have sat there for hours! Social distancing meant the place was quiet which was brilliant for somewhere so close to London; felt like we were in the middle of the countryside. The social distancing was well implemented both through the booking system, and in the cafe area. Looking forward to going back
