Definitely worth a visit, kid's have plenty of space to run, make their own adventures and run off excess energy while learning some history 👍

Fantastic wildlife area lots of walks with well kept paths, some hardstanding. Locals have worked hard on there art work and garden. The building have bats in and are kept naturally. Haven't done the tunnels will definitely book on.

This site has unique historical importance, but is now also a nature reserve, home to many species of birds, bats & butterflies in the woodland, while the river flowing through the site is home to Kingfishers, Dippers & Grey Wagtails. Lovely.

I went today to find out more about this place and was stopped by a very rude man who shouted at me because I had my dog with me. I didn't realise that dogs were not allowed but it wouldn't have been a problem as I could have left him in the car as I was only making enquiries. I asked why and was told it was because of chemicals, however the wildlife seem to thrive and guide dogs and dogs for hearing impaired people are allowed, maybe the chemicals don't affect them, or humans come to that? If you read this whoever you are, you need to take lessons in how to treat people with respect!!! Then a very welcoming man from the office came to speak to me and told me I could join the Friends of Rhydymwyn Valley for the same price of £5 to gain entry. He showed me 2 very interesting films. I rest my case....
