Used this car park due to needing Covid test. I felt it not very fair I had to pay £2 since I only used it for 20mins. But was still grateful I didn't have to pay full £5. Very good sized car park right alongside the River Dee and beautiful bridge. Can't wait for things to get back to normal so I can try the little cafe that's there.
A very large car park, ideally situated for visiting Chester. Very full on Saturday but finally managed to get a place. Extremely good value. We were there for a few hours & only paid £5. Been using this car park for over 40 years!
Lots of space so always somewhere to park. Not sure if the parking spaces are to a standard size as i don't have a particular long car but didnt seem to matter how i parked, either front was hanging out or the back was.. and how keen these parking officers are these days I felt a bit uneasy leaving it thinking I was coming back to a fine but hey couldn't do more than I did.
I was only there an hour but still got the full day charge which I supose I should of read the signage but still felt it was a bit pricey for an hour when the fee system times you with reg plates so its quite easy to implement a lower charge for a shorter stay.
Handy place to park though, town centre is a short walk away even though your on the edge of the city so no getting caught in traffic. If you use make sure your staying all day!

Excellent price £5.00 for the day. Just by crown court. Five min walk down to river and to ascend wall walk. Very large tarmac car park. Campervan on too. Cafe there but was closed. Would use again.
