Great place for a walk. Took my pup for a walk beside the river and it was stunning. Took him off the lead for the first time as it was a safe place to do so. He enjoyed running around and jumping in and out the river. There are some great little slopes down into the shallows of the river for him to paddle around in. Saw people paddle boarding, having little BBQs and paddling around. Family, pet and sport friendly. Parking is hit and miss.
Wonderful access point onto the River Dee with parking available (restricted at time of writing this). This is one of the end points of our River Dee trips that can be done in canoes, kayaks or stand up paddleboards!
Great parking. No ferry. Quite misleading actually. Had to swim in the end
Great place to get out on the river or just to relax.
Quiet place at times . Busier while we have the restrictions that prevent people from doing what they normally would do.
