I was a wedding photographer at a wedding at St Martin's church in May 2019 and found it to be an exceptional wedding ceremony venue. Under the care and guidance of Father Mark, the couple were given the personal touch. He used humour and made the ceremony good fun and centred around the couple and their love for each other. Regarding the photography, he was very relaxed and the only rule was no use of flash. I would thoroughly recommend the church to any couples seeking to book a religious wedding in Caerphilly.
Very beautiful church
Very rude and unprofessional wedding experience at my cousins wedding. Doing sound checks whilst the wedding congregation was taking their seats, surely this should have been done in the morning and not whilst the wedding party taking their seats. Be-littling the photographer for using the flash in front of people (how about communication with the photograher before the service), members of the public not belonging to wedding party reading newspapers at the back whilst service taking place, as the bride and groom were outside having their photos taken the woman vicar rudely interrupted the photos and demanded payment for the organist. (How about making sure the service is all paid for before the wedding).
Would definately not recommend this venue for a wedding and I would quite happily speak to someone regarding this matter.
