My two daughters go to this school, they are age 3 and age 4. My daughter aged 4 has autism, we chose this school because we knew she wouldn’t fair well in a large classroom environment, The class sizes at this school are amazing! Once she started there, I saw how much she flourished, was nurtured, and loved by everyone. That’s when I knew that my three year old daughter had to go there too! She doesn’t have autism, since September she has learnt to count to 10 in french!! She can write numbers, copy her name written down, she is just 3years old!! The level of one to one my daughters get is brilliant. The fees are much more affordable than other schools we looked at, and worked out a lot less than the nursery fees ever did! I fact I do believe they allow parents to pay monthly if they wish. The school values are amazing, bullying simply doesn’t exist here, and that was another driving factor for us chosing Saville House School! The grades that the pupils achieve here are so good! I recommend this school to everyone, take a look around, I guarantee you will fall in love with its staff, ethos and values just like we did!
My daughter has been going to Saville House for two years now. She is doing unbelievably well in all subjects and can even speak some basic French. The staff are all fantastic. My daughter has been lucky enough to be taught by Miss Parkin and Mrs Storer who she is very fond of. All the children have excellent manners and help each other during the school day. I can’t fault the school and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good affordable private education.
My 4 year old daughter has attended the school since she was 2.5 years and has come on so much in that time. She has become more confident academically and socially, and is now able to read simple sentences and write quite neatly for a child of her age.
As a former teacher myself, I feel confident sending her to Saville House knowing that she will receive a good education. I am surprised by other reviews suggesting things to the contrary of this, as I regularly have to stand in the school playground for a while after collecting my daughter whilst she runs around playing with her friends, not wanting to leave because she is so happy. She has received extra support where needed and is progressing very well. I would recommend the school to anybody looking for a great place to send their child, and wouldn't send her anywhere else.
It's a shame that bitter parents feel it necessary to write such comments. My experience of the school is very positive, and I have no connections with the owners or staff. Children are supported to achieve to and beyond their potential in different & innovative ways, and no, the school isn't a slave to one particular way of doing things. I think that's a positive thing! As parents we want our children to enjoy school at this age, and the parents who choose Saville House do so not to push their children but to ensure they turn into well rounded little people. And they certainly do! Impeccable manners, confidence and social skills far in advance of many their age is as important as 'scores'. (Though these are pretty good too!) I would suggest that prospective parents see for themselves and visit the school. I did, and it took me about 5 minutes to decide it was the right environment!
We have 2 sons at Saville House they’ve both been there since kindergarten one now aged 5 , the other aged 9
Both are progressing very well, Small class sizes , The school has a friendly environment and certainly would recommend the school to anyone.
