I attandes the church for about a year. I met very friendly Christians who were supportive in the faith. Personally, I like solemn Sunday morning and evening services. Also, the Welsh afternoon Sunday service is a wonderful plus.

Was approached by a man on the street handing out flyers for the church to try and convince us to attend service. I asked him what his views on homosexuality were. He promptly responded that he thought it was a sin just like his greed was a sin and that the church can help... Gay people do not need help and I am appalled that this prejudice is still happening. I don't need your church to 'help me' thank you very much.

Dewi Higham is the pastor and he is really excellent in every way. His preaching is earnest, Bible-based, Christ exalting. The Sunday morning message is more aimed at members but will contain a challenge, more fully aimed in the evenings, towards those who are not converted. The singing is 'classic Welsh' - simple, profound hymns to stirring tunes. See for yourself, almost every service is broadcast live on YouTube where you will also find an archive of previous services. This church is very active, with a Sunday School, toddlers group, Saturday morning 'Open Door' and a menu of fellowship and children's meetings. On Sunday afternoons, Capel y Rhath meet: a Welsh language church with live translation into English. Each summer the church hosts a week-long conference with preachers renowned for their emphasis on heart religion.
