Stunning mansion, what an ideal wedding venue!

What a great venue with incredible history. While it is an impressive old manor, the first thing that greets you here is the long path to the house, lined with sheep whichever way you look. You get a feeling your in a remote countryside spot when in fact your a stones throw from urban civilisation. Picturesque photo opportunities are abound, with lots of open space. We went there for a wedding reception party but it would be great for an outdoor drinks party too. They have a very large marquee that accommodates large crowds.

A breathtaking beautiful venue, which Google maps had difficulty finding, I think the signage in the area could have been better. The staff were excellent, although the canapes seemed pointless for a large party. It was also cold, especially in the banqueting hall. It must be a gorgeous venue in the summer.

Stunning venue, beautiful dining room and hallways. Amazing place for a wedding. Only downside is no accommodation on site, but Holiday Inn Express nearby was very good.
