Appalling for breakdown.did not have cover on my insurance,so had to pay 97.50.that was fine but when breakdown arrived he squeezed a few pipes,topped up water,and sent us on our way with our 2 young grandchildren.saying prob was air block in pipes.this was at Bristol m5 and it broke down again with same problem.at junction 22. Called axa again and had to pay again as they said it was a separate breakdown.after being taken off mway sat in car on back of low loader with grandchildren to services ,then had to wait again for another mechanic.after 4 hours in total nobody.we called recovery and they said if we had not called nobody knew we were there.when he arrived he said it was thermostat not air block so took it out saying it would be fine.off on our way again,until I broke down for 3rd time and still not at destination.17 1/2 hours later,for a 3 1/2 hour journey.managed to get there.car still broke 2 weeks later.head gasket,and none of problems mechanics said.

Tried calling them several times over the last few days and the line does not even connect. Absolutely horrendous. Their line does not work on my phone at all. Just sits there dialing for several minutes then disconnects. Am going to rethink my insurance next year. They used to be really good.

Like a lot of insurers out there - they simply do not answer the phone.

Can't believe how bad this company is, yes when I do a search they are the cheapest, but when it comes to claiming they don't want to know. AVOID go elsewhere these people won't help you.
