One of the oldest in Wales. Closed now cos if C virus but grounds are open to sit admire the tranquillity and enjoy super coffee and cakes at the Castle coffee shop on site. A great place to picnic such a lovely relaxing venue in central CARDIFF. A must to visit.
Beautiful castle. Very interesting to see the different stage of its history so well maintained one next to the other. The only pity is that due to Covid - 19 it is still not possible to visit the inside.
Lovely place for some coffee and cake.
Lots of outside places to sit.
Grand children aged 4 and 6 loved the cannons, dragon and field to run around in.
The castle is still closed due to the Corona virus.
It was very open, and friendly inside, but there was not a lot to look at, me and my girlfriend took few pics and were done in 10-20 mins. But I loved the architecture and the red dragon statue. Would recommend for short visit.
It was nice to visit although half of it was closed, presumably due to covid. The grass area was great for a picnic and they had some guns the kids could look at and sit on. I wish I coukd have seen more of the castle
