APPALLING INCOMPETENCY By the Pharmacists. Sorry but it is crazy how they constantly accuse the Doctors of not sending over prescriptions. Then they say one thing and do another. Then when they realise they are wrong they still like to pass blame instead of accepting they cant do their jobs properly and then take offence when you call them out on it. Yes there is a pandemic BUT no excuse for lying and causing stress

Absolutely shocking service, after being turned away twice stating the doctor hadn't sent my prescription there. I asked them to call the doctors, i then had to wait a further 2days and when i went to collect my prescription they told me they didn't have my tablets and could not order them. She then handed me two perscriptions of mine, the one they were adimemt they didn't have and the new one from the doctor. I have now been without my tablets for 4 days due to running out. I will never use them again.

6 weeks ago I arranged with Ton yr Felin surgery to have a painkiller put into my mother-in-law's weekly blister pack, when this was confirmed by the surgery I then contacted Nelson's Pharmacy to confirm the changes and the lady I spoke to confirmed it with the pharmacist.When we collected the next 4 week's worth of trays the change hadn't occurred, I didn't want to make a fuss because of Covid 19 as I work in pharmacy myself and I know the pressure they are under. I rung up to confirm the change would occur for the next lot of trays, I was told the lady who controls the trays was too busy to speak and that the gentleman would try and help me ( he did this by insulting my intelligence), he said there was no notes on my mother-in-law's file to indicate the change and that I must be mistaken and only rung the surgery and not the pharmacy.I worked in community pharmacy for 33 years before changing to hospital pharmacy and I know exactly who I contacted. I know human error occurs and nobody was hurt but it was a needless comment on his behalf. We have a far more serious error previously from this pharmacy that thankfully because of my pharmacy knowledge I picked up before any medication was administered to my mother-in-law by her carer's who would not have known there was an error. Nelson pharmacy manager maybe a little training is required by some of your staff before they offend anyone else!!!!!!! Yes I am a little annoyed.

Friendly but, oh so slow, for the amount of people working there the service is not that good, instead of having one person at the counter serving customers, they are all at the back chatting and leaving customers standing around, which means customers waiting outside cold and wet, please try and think of us as we do you.

Kind, helpful staff doing an amazing job under huge pressure. We must not forget that this team is an essential part of the front-line in the present health crisis!
