Visited The Paddocks caravan park for 4 nights 12-16th Oct 2020. What a lovely stay this was, we were greeted when entering the property and shown to our very own lodge. We were told anything we needed to know in regards of the lodge& how to use the hot tub ect. Paid £150 security deposit in cash. ( can also pay by card, takes 5-10 days to be returned back to your bank). Singed the forms that stated I was handing over £150& signing the hot tub agreement form. Overall it was an amazing stay, lovely views& quiet area. Main road not far away so can hear some traffic during traffic hours. But nothing too distributive. We were provided with bath robes and slippers! Which is a bonus. The lodge was for 4 people. One double room& then a twin bedroom. It was very cosy. Hot tub was brilliant! Not heated on arrival, however this is because it gets emptied and refilled for your arrival. Didn’t take long to heat up, around 8hrs. can receive take aways menus and they can be delivered to the lodge which is also a plus. People ran the place were very helpful and lovely. Has a TV with Netflix& WiFi is available. No hair dryer so I suggest you bring your own. No Prosecco/Champaign glasses ( we bought from shops Asda £5) shops close by, supermarket around 13mins drive . We will be returning again some time soon! Love it.

Nice new lodges that sleep from 2 to 4 people. Everything you need in them. Bathrobes and slippers are provided and towels and bedding. Lovely hot tub. Owner very nice, phoned him up and he came straight away with a bathrobe as there wasn't 4, and said just call me if you need anything at all.

We stayed at this site last weekend. It was one of the cleanest sites we have stayed on. However, on the down side we were looking for a site called The Paddocks on the A47, finally we phoned the site owner to be told that the name outside was King Richard's Lodges, it was not until we turned off the busy road did we see The Paddocks on the electronic gates. I did mention it to the owner who said that they would change the site on the internet.

We stayed here for three very pleasant nights recently. The owners were very accommodating and left us to ourselves - just what we like from a CL! The pitches were spacious and couldn't have been more level - the whole site was very well laid out, you can see a lot of thought had been put into the planning of it. Two happy horses in the field adjacent and in the eveing we watched hares munching on the grass in the peace and quiet. We will definitely be back!
