Genius counter service🙄. I had a question about the Boots advantage card points so I need a counter service. I was waiting for 15 minutes to pay, the very old counter was doing with customers ver slowly. And finally it was my turn and his colleague didn’t even let me finish my question and just said go to upstairs. Then I went to upstairs and t another guy told me they don’t even have customer service.
Wanted to price clarins new facial cream, the assistant was very helpful and even gave me and a friend samples. I will definitely visit again.
Being Boots, I knew to expect quality products. The products were as expected but due to the store being small, not all the items I was looking for were found.
I had a problem with atopic dermatitis, and I am a doctor. I know that hydrocortisone cream was necessary to help my condition. Without wanting to sound patronising/condascending from my side, the sales girl at prescription counter thought she knew better than me and just advised antibacterial creams. I requested to speak to the pharmacist, since she was insisting that a lot of people have drier hands now and they don't recommend hydrocortisone cream. I told her that this case is more than just dry hands, and is impairing my work. I also sensed reluctance from her side to get the pharmacist to speak to me.. however, when the pharmacist came, she was very helpful and agreed I need hydrocortisone cream.
Bottom line: More training needed for sales people.
