When we decided to purchase our first MoHo- we went to see the wide selection at BC Motorhomes. We were impressed with how friendly the staff were; and, even though they were soon to close- spent time chatting to us. We went to several other showrooms throughout Scotland and although we saw some MoHo's that we liked, the sales team did not impress us. It was an exciting day when we returned to BC to purchase our Adria Coral SC- a Moho we later called "Donald". Calum and John threw in some extras and attended to the very small snag list that we saw. On the 1st September, "Donald" was ours! We were lucky to have 4 trips with him- before disaster struck...Donald was limping!! One can tell a good and trustworthy dealer by their actions when things go wrong. We were away when it happened and called Calum- bring it straight to us he said. Once he and his team had a look, it was very much a fiat issue. BC arranged for Donald to go to a repair shop- they arranged his delivery, and kept on the case to try and ensure that he was fixed asap. Once this was done, they went and brought him home to us! They knew I was disappointed in not having Donald to travel in- and even arranged to bring one of their hire vehicles out of SORN, so that we could get away! The actual Van part of Donald is actually perfect...and if anything should go wrong, I know that BC will rectify this.... I am so very pleased that we purchased Donald from them.

So BC offer motorhomes at good prices and the sales team are very helpful whilst selling you a vehicle but once you have handed over your money the support fades away. We bought a brand new motorhome from BC and it arrived broken. It has taken 5 months to get the problem solved. The only way you get a response is to go to the managing director and even he needs pushing at every step. BC didn't sort the problem out but eventually arranged for another company to do the work. They sent the wrong part not once but twice to the company. To quote this company "BC and their staff showed no urgency in sorting out the problem". This is our first motorhome and it is only 5 months later that we can use it to its full potential. For 2 months it has been stuck in a garage waiting for BC to get the right part to them. Take into account the subscription cost of the tracker alarm, road tax and missed holiday opportunities in these 5 months and perhaps the deal they offered doesn't look so good. Research your dealer carefully. Their support is as important as the deal they offer you
