Trying to book the experience my wife bought me was a total nightmare, later found out there is only one aircraft working. Interior and exterior of the plane is very tatty and does not reflect the price, really disappointing.
Pilot was friendly and knowledgable.
I was interested in getting a license after I retired and Prestwick flight centre is right on my doorstep, but I will not be returning as it’s unreliable and overpriced.
Good flight into Prestwick - Everyone at the flight center was super helpful and showed us the process for booking out again.
Eventually managed to use my voucher after a long wait! some of the reasons are beyond Prestwick flight centres control (weather and covid) however, they now only have one serviceable aircraft which is sadly very tired looking, when I visited last year they had a much larger fleet of different types, no idea what has happened. I will be going elsewhere to start my PPL
Experience itself was great, only let down by the aircraft quality. Not the plane I expected to fly in and certainly not at the price paid.
Very friendly receptionist, a bit old airplanes with used interior. Wonderful climbout over the north atlantic coast! Close to famous Culzene Bay! Not very busy airport
