Beautiful old church , sheltered among the hills ,stunning views and amazing sense of peace and calm .
This church is amazing. It is in a remote location that you can either drive to over many miles of narrow country lanes, or walk to from the west (it's a little less than three miles to walk). It is one of the oldest churches in Wales, and is generally unlocked, so you can visit the sanctuary. There is also a healing well in the church yard. It's well worth the visit, and if you have the time to walk there, it is amazingly beautiful.

This is the most magical medieval church, way up on the edge of the mountain. Amazing old text and murals on the east wall inside, a holy well outside that's reputed to cure children (I don't know, it hasn't fixed mine yet.) I've been here for carols by candlelight at Christmas, and sat there freezing with a hot water bottle under my coat, my breath clouding in the air. The most magical experience. Sometimes there will be sheep wandering in the graveyard. Sometimes you might meet another human, but not often.
open to the public and very quaint, this old little church sits amongst some fantastic views and is a real gem of a find.
