I was skeptical about the aesthetics of having a new roof put on my Victorian terraced property, but when the original roof sprung a leak I was left with no alternative, and contacted Telnik Roofing, currently working on a property further down the street. It was a fortuitous choice and I’d have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone. I could tell immediately that Lee has a passion for buildings and would be sympathetic to my concerns about the integrity of the house. He listened carefully to all my requests and bent over backwards to oblige. I absolutely love the finished roof and, even though it’s been on a few weeks now, I keep nipping outside to admire it! Lee chose beautiful traditional tiles and Peter and the team made an excellent job of the curved tiles in the valleys which look superb. They even fitted a weathervane for us! The crowning glory though is decorative ridge tiles which just ooze Victorian character. I must add that ours is just an ordinary, tiny terraced house, and our budget was small; this just shows what can be achieved. The work began just before lockdown, so there were some unavoidable delays, but it was absolutely no problem at all. Telnik arranged everything: the scaffolding, carpentry for the soffits and fascias etc., removal of mess and tidying up afterwards. All the workmen involved were professional, courteous, efficient, and very good company. I very much hope that this review encourages others to use Telnik Roofing; they’re easily the best tradesmen we’ve ever used.

Nick and team replaced our roof (1901 arts and crafts house) with some lovely heritage clay tiles just over 4 years ago. We were delighted with the service (professional, courteous, tidy) and how the tiles looked at the time and we received numerous complimentary comments. The follow up with periodic checks on the tiles has also been great.
