We loved walking along this trail while on holiday in the area. Very flat and easy path to walk on with good views along the way. Plenty of places to get on/off the trail, picnic benches and spots, would also recommend George III pub half way down.

This is a great trail to do and even with a family. The views are beautiful, definitely pack a picnic and soak up the view and watch the different types of wildlife see what you can spot. We Had fish and chips once we arrived in Barmouth and found a quiet spot to enjoy them.

Delightful flat trail along the old railway line from Dolgellau to Fairbourne - about 8 miles next to the beautiful Mawddach Estuary.
